It's down-to-business in San Jose for the Jayhawks

The Jayhawks have landed in San Jose, which means it's time to get down to business. No time for fun in the sun.
KU hit the practice floor Wednesday afternoon in preparation for the Thursday Sweet 16 match-up with fourth-seed Southern Illinois.
The Salukis come out of the mighty Missouri Valley Conference, which, as if Jayhawk fans need reminding, is the same conference Bradley plays in, the same Bradley team that thumped KU in the first round of the tournament last year.
You can bet the Hawks are motivated to pay the Missouri Valley Conference one right back.
"Especially from last year, losing to Bradley in the first round, I think that should be enough motivation," KU junior forward Sasha Kaun said. "You know, a team from the Missouri Valley, and how hard they play, they're just a great team. We have to come out there and play with them and match their intensity and stuff. And also, being in the Sweet 16, no game is easy, that's for sure."
"It doesn't matter who we're playing against, what conference, how big the name is, we want to win every game," KU junior guard Russell Robinson said. "I think we're gonna come out with enough energy to do that, and it doesn't matter if it's SIU, Duke, we're just gonna come out and play hard."
KU is certainly motivated for Thursday's game, but what about the Salukis? 49 Sports Director Nick Griffith is in San Jose. He caught up with the Missouri Valley Conference powerhouse Wednesday afternoon. Watch his report.
