Topeka Police investigate robbery at CD Trade Post

Location of robbery

CD Trade Post, 3116 SW 29th Street, is reeling from the loss incurred after a man armed with a handgun held up the store.

The robbery occurred at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

An employee reported that an unknown African-American male, described as 5’ 8’’ with a medium build demanded money from a worker. He was wearing a white tee shirt pulled up over his head and had on a red, button-down shirt.

He was armed with a handgun and was last seen leaving the business northbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
