49 Storm Team Forecast: Hot, humid with storms tonight

Most of Northeast and North-central Kansas will stay dry this afternoon, but some storms will be possible tonight as a weak front approaches.

Highs will reach the lower 90s for your Thursday with south winds of 10-15 mph. Tonight, storms will be possible especially north of I-70 with heavy rain and gusty winds the main threats. Expect lows in the lower 70s.

Pop up showers aren't out of the question, and tonight looks like Northeast Kansans best chance of seeing some rain. Keep an eye on Doppler Radar in our <a href="/weather/">weather section</a>.

Friday will bring more of the same (all the way through the weekend). Expect partly cloudy skies with isolated storms by afternoon. Highs in the lower to middle 90s. Overnight lows around 70.
